FRCR 2B
The South West FRCR 2B Revision Course (Formerly the Bristol FRCR 2B Course) is a comprehensive, sensibly designed revision course for candidates sitting for the 2B part of the FRCR examinations. These are run twice every year in Spring and Autumn just before the actual examination dates so that you get maximum revision and practice before sitting them.
Some of the best consultants from across the UK participate as examiners on this course. Over the duration of the course, these consultants can help sharpen your skills and prepare you for your examinations.
The course aims to coach you in all three aspects of the exam including Reporting and Vivas. It is designed such that each candidate attends at least four sets of vivas. In the vivas, the candidate is examined half of the time and they observe another candidate perform for the other half. We offer the option to have your viva sessions video recorded to help you observe and improve your performance.
We use the most modern equipment for electronic reporting sessions to simulate the actual exam conditions. (We use Apple iMacs with OSIRIX software)
Along with rigorous practice for reporting and vivas, we also show you how to approach the examination, techniques to use and current examination marking guidelines.
To keep you relaxed during the course and also provide you the opportunity to make good use of your time with the examiners, we have built in ample breaks with refreshments. Lunch is provided on the days of the course.
OVERSEAS CANDIDATES PLEASE NOTE – Please ensure that visas are obtained in good time as we will not able to refund fees as a result of failure to get a valid visa to visit the UK. We do not hold a sponsor licence as defined by the UK Border Agency under Tier 4 of the points-based system. You are therefore advised to attend the course on the basis of sitting the FRCR examinations (Tourist Visa).
