Liam McKnight
Dr Liam McKnight is a Consultant Radiologist in Swansea based at Morriston Hospital. He has been clinical director and deputy medical director. He was an FRCR examiner for 6 years and has been chair of the FRCR exam board from 2006-2011 overseeing many exam changes including the move to Single BestAnswer MCQ and the electronic delivery of the Reporting and Rapid Reporting sections. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Swansea Medical School and the Clinical Lead and Editor of the Radiology Integrated Training Initiative-the multiaward winning delivery of the Radiology core curriculum by e-learning.
Gavin Stoddart
Dr Gavin Stoddart has been closely involved in education and management throughout his career since being appointed as a consultant diagnostic radiologist at Weston-super-Mare in 1985. He has held the posts of Lead Clinician, Divisional Director for Clinical Support Services, Deputy Medical Director and Director of Medical Education. He is currently the Head of School of Radiology for the Severn Deanery, Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol, and a member of the Royal College of Radiologists Final Fellowship Part A Examination Board.
Horace D’Costa
Dr Horace D’Costa, B.Sc. (Hons.), M.B.Ch.B, FRCPS (Glasg), FRCR has been Postgraduate District Tutor for the Terence Mortimer Postgraduate Centre at the Horton (Oxford Deanery), RCR College Tutor and Head of department since being appointed as a Consultant Radiologist with the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Trust for the past 13 years. He is a Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Oxford and an Associate Tutor Green-Templeton College (Oxford). Dr D’Costa has a special interest in GI and Breast radiology. He is a regular examiner for the Oxford medical school and takes regular vivas for local SpRs prior to the FRCR exam, as well as being an examiner on the Oxford FRCR Course.
Paul Treweeke
Dr Paul Treweeke was a trainee Radiologist at St Thomas’ and Charing Cross Hospital and obtained his FRCR in 1986. He has been working at North Devon District Hospital, Barnstaple since 1989 as a Consultant General Radiologist with sub speciality interests in Breast and Vascular Radiology. He has been examining at the South West FRCR course since 2009.
Mark Hamilton
Dr Mark Hamilton is a Consultant Cardiac Radiologist and regional lead for adult and paediatric cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. He takes a major role in cardiac ultrasound and computed tomography and has active research interests. he has advised the RCR and NICE on investigation of chest pain and lectures regularly on cardiac imaging at national societies.He is a reviewer for the British Journal of Radiology and Clinical Radiology as well as secretary to the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging. He is an Educational Supervisor for the Severn Deanery radiology trainees.
Richard Hopkins
Richard Hopkins trained in Bristol 1996-2001 before undertaking a Fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at Vancouver General Hospital 2001-02. Appointed as a consultant at Cheltenham General Hospital 2002. Imaging interests include Abdominal imaging and ultrasound guided intervention. Post graduate Clinical Tutor since 2005. Radiology College Tutor 2009 –current. He is a faculty member contributing to several radiology courses and at the College of Surgeons. Reviewer for BJR.
